Weaving Munson Mystery Wool!

I love this Munson Mystery wool.
It is lumpy, bumpy, springy.
The gray color dances between
dark and light.

It is sometimes soft,
sometimes crunchy.
It comes to life in the fabric.

It came to me in a black plastic bag.
I sorted it on a Fall day
in my front yard.

Sorting and picking.
Saving all the best parts.

I spun it and spun it, weeks of work.
But I couldn't resist it.
Such character, such bounce!

It has been waiting so many years
to BECOME.
Now it is happy, it will BE
It will warm a cold neck, a lap, a head.

We waited so long
to find the right venue
Now I can almost hear it
laughing with Joy.
